pediatric.

i've been slacking on here....my younger "play" sister blue has pointed out to me.
so i've decided to flood you with words today lol...(and perhaps a couple of pictures)

to the little girl taking her baby to the pediatrician's office;
who is of pediatric age herself

I wonder if I should remind her he is real
Handled like a rag doll
She forgets its flesh that she grips so tightly
Baby bundles are easily made fashionable
Showers, acceptance, and love
For 15 year olds who have barely reached puberty themselves
Beautiful and red he tumbles from daughter
To mothers hands clumsily
Her face is young
Sneakers not even twice the days old
As the fingers on his right hand
Five times the price of his formula
I’m curious if she’ll remember priority
Questions of, “I wonder why he do dat?”
Her pointer finger locked in the confines of his palm
(I think) it’s to remind her that he’s still here

I read that with my jaw wide open. Nicely done.
