good reads: mix & match.

I read three kinds of books each week. One is fiction and for entertainment purposes, the second is non-fiction and usually something to help me work the kinks out of my writing, and the latter is a self-help or life improvement text. A friend of mine asked me why I didn't share this strategy on my blog. Yeahhh....why didn't I? Oh well, from here on out it will be incorporated into the posts.

#nowreading:

The Fiction Book:

"Girls of Riyadh"
by
Rajaa Alsanea

The Non-Fiction Book

"Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation"
by
Lynne Truss

&

The Life Improvement Text:

"The Little Black Book of Success: Laws of Leadership for Black Women"
by
Elaine Meryl Brown, Marsha Haygod, and Rhonda Joy McLean

I like to read text like these simultaneously because it's hard to confuse their information. As I've mentioned before, I get bored easily so It's better for my attention span if I mix things up. Lol. All three are delicious reads so far.
